Just exploring the possibility of a couples meet-n-greet somewhere in the city. We hear from so many cool, sexy people on here but because of our schedules (and the fact that this isn't something we are looking to do all the time, more of a once in awhile to add some spice type of thing) we don't get to meet the majority. It would be awesome to plan something where we could find a random bar and invite all...whoever hits it off great, if not nothing lost beyond a few hours of time and even if nothing more happens it's always fun to meet and share experiences, fantasies, etc with sexy, open-minded people. I haven't looked into dates or places yet but I'd love to know if this is something that interests others? Any feedback would be very appreciated. While we're taking some time off from actually playing with others (although I keep hoping that will change), one way in which we continue to have fun is through photo shoots. Not sure how interested guys on here would be in joining us but it's a way in which i'm thinking we might be able to bring others into our fun without her actually having sex with others. We're off to Vegas tomorrow for a long weekend...hopefully we'll get to hit up a club out there...if anyone has any suggestions for a good one we'd love to hear...have heard some very mixed reviews of the Red Rooster...hopefully I'll have more to add to this post when we get back on Tuesday. In the meantime happy Halloween to everyone and if anyone finds themselves in the Downtown Brooklyn area we hear there's a good party going on at La Defense tonight (11/1).

Checkmates was our first swing club experience together so this review is about 2 years overdue. It started out as all our typical meets/swing club experiences do which means she had cold feet and we considered canceling. Fortunately after some back and forth her curiosity got the best of her, we put on our sexiest clothes and headed up to Midtown East (it's 227 East 56th St...I never know if that's the upper end of midtown or the lower portion of the Upper East Side?). Also typical to all our swing club experiences we got there right as it opened which is way too early. In our experience these places usually open around 10ish but don't get going until around midnight so we tend to get there and sit around nervously for a couple hours staring at the door wishing we'd come a bit later.
The setup is pretty typical of the clubs we've been to, after you pay your entrance fee (I think it was around $120 or so) you walk into the main room...DJ, dance floor, some couches around the dance floor and a BYOB bar. It's the basement level of the building so the ceiling is a bit low...couple that with the balloons they usually have on the dance floor ceiling and if you're tall you'll spend a lot of time ducking. There's a locker room off to the side, they provide you with a lock if you decide to use it. There are playrooms off the main room but you need to undress in order to enter them. So far this is the only club we've been to with that requirement, not everyone likes it but we prefer it, I think it encourages play a bit more than clubs that allow dressed people into the play areas. Ultimately I guess it's all about your personal taste.
I had actually been to Checkmates a few times in the past with ex's...I have always had a good time and the crowd has always been a lot of fun. They aren't overly discriminating so you'll find all ages, body types, etc there. If you only want to be surrounded by super models this probably isn't the place for you, but everyone has always been very respectful and no always means no so there's never any pressure to play unless you want to.
As this was our first time there together and at this point she still didn't have any actual swing experience I wasn't expecting much beyond some meeting and greeting and hopefully some watching/being watched in the rooms. For the first hour or two we mingled with the few people that trickled in, as the crowd grew we met some really cool, interesting people. The thing that always wows me with swing clubs and swinging in general is how normal and even successful the people you meet are. I can't tell you the number of doctors, lawyers, etc I've met through this. It was no different this night...we ended up spending a lot of our time getting to know a really sexy, very cool couple....eventually friends of theirs came in (also a sexy, cool couple) and they all headed off for the play rooms. We were invited to join but A wasn't quite ready yet.
After a bit more chatting and another drink we decided to give it a go...we undressed (they provide you with towels & robes but they aren't exactly the world's sexiest pieces of attire so most women wear lingerie which is allowed), put our clothes in a locker and entered the play area. It consists of 3 or 4 (it's been awhile, my memory is more of the sex than the layout) rooms off a hallway...it makes for great viewing and you can tell the rooms that have the hot & heavy action going on because they generally draw a crowd. We watched a bit even stumbling upon our sexy friends having fun.
While we were watching I noticed a man behind A checking her out. He gave me a "do you mind" look to which i responded with a nod and he began caressing her...she told me someone was touching her, I asked her if she was ok and she said yes so we enjoyed it while we watched. Then she told me he was fingering her which brought me to full attention and was her introduction to sexual play in a club. He didn't get her off but he definitely set the mood because after that she was ready to jump in.
We decided to join our friends on the beds in the room. We started with the couple we had been chatting with, A with him, me with his wife...he brought A to orgasm with his tongue and fingers which was probably the sexiest thing I'd ever seen at that point in my life...unfortunately I wasn't so lucky...his wife passed out on me. I like to think it had more to do with too much alcohol as opposed to my lack of skill in the bedroom...she eventually ended up getting sick in the bathroom which kind of confirmed my suspicion that it was the alcohol. We ended up playing with their friends which was incredibly hot. It was more soft swing with the ladies enjoying each other a bit as well.
Before we left we went into one of the quieter rooms and enjoyed each other a bit more. While in there a man entered and watched. While he was watching I motioned for him to join us...we both began playing with A and by the end of that session she'd been DP'd for the first time.
All in all it was an amazing first swing experience for her and confirmed my opinion that Checkmates is a ton of fun. It may not be for everyone, I'm sure there are better places with sexier crowds but I've always had a great time and it was the perfect introduction to swinging for her. We've definitely enjoyed these past 2 years so it obviously didn't turn her off to it.

After months of talking about it we finally made it out to Bowery Bliss this past Saturday night (8/17). For those who don't know, It's an on premise club occupying the 2nd, 3rd & 4th floors of a walk-up in Manhattan's Lower East Side. From the looks of it I'd guess it was once an apartment or apartments that have now been converted to a club.
The first floor has the locker room, the dance floor and the bar (BYOB ) along with a small food spread...I'm sure you can play there if you wanted but it seems to be more of a meet/talk/flirt area. The second and third floors have play areas a stripper pole and seem to be where most of the X-rated action takes place. Saturdays are couples and single women only, I know they used to let single men in on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays but the policy may be changing on Fridays so I'd recommend checking the website if you're a single guy.
At this point I should mention that going in mid August was probably not the best idea since the city pretty much empties out and that was reflected in the clubs attendance. We got there just before 11 (I believe it's open 10pm - 4am) and were the 3rd couple there. We chatted with the bartender for a bit and she told us that Saturday nights tend to get a good crowd so I would imagine if you want more people to mingle with another time of year might be better...over the course of the night I'd guesstimate that about 20 couples were there. Even as we were leaving around 2ish a new, sexy couple was just getting there. It's $120 per couple although we got there in the first hour so they only charged us $100...kind of in line with other swing clubs we've been to.
As far as any type of screening goes I believe it's open to all ages, body-types, etc...the crowd varied and no pictures were required when we made our reservation on the website. If you're turned off by seeing something other than super models having sex this may not be the club for you (although Checkmates, Le Trapeze and others we've been to here in NYC are pretty much the same). That said there were definitely plenty of cool, sexy couples in attendance and although everyone was a bit reserved initially, all the people we talked to were very friendly.
The one complaint we had (which we've had at a few of the clubs we've been to) is that there is no undressing required to go in any of the play rooms. A lot of people prefer this and if you're new and just getting your feet wet with the clubs this is probably better as it allows you to wander everywhere without having to strip down. In our experience it also tends to turn play rooms into pure viewing rooms which can be a bit intimidating if you actually want to play...I know being watched is part of the fun but when that's all everyone is doing it can be a bit much. That said on Saturday it seemed like everyone there came to play and that made the night great. We ended up meeting a fantastic couple from Long Island and had an incredibly hot time.
As for Bowery Bliss overall, while the decor is nothing fancy the people were all very friendly, it had a small but sexy (in my opinion) crowd and on Saturday night we had a fantastic time...it's definitely on par with the other clubs we've been to in NYC thus far and I have no doubt we'll be back.

A few weeks ago we celebrated A's birthday with a small apartment party. As the night wound down and people started leaving we ended up with just one couple and our very sexy neighbor drinking and sharing a bit too much. Just wondering which is better for swinging...Summer seems like it could be better, less clothes, everyone looks better with their tans but for some reason we always seem to have constant plans and are never really home long enough to have much fun. On the flip side Winter seems like the cold would prevent playing but what else is there to do inside that's close to this much fun? We're hoping to hit a swing club sometime soon but have been saying that since the end of May so who knows when time will free up enough to actually do it. Maybe it will just have to wait until Winter but hopefully one of these Saturday nights we'll make it to Bowery Bliss...still hoping to hear a review from someone, would love to know if it's worth the trip. The one thing i do know is sex on the beach is a lot more enjoyable in the Summer!

So we've sort of taken a break recently from the meets and have kind of been slowing down as far as full playing goes. That said, we're hoping to try a bit of soft swap/same room kind of stuff and we decided to give a swing club/party a try in the next few weeks. We've been to a few locally as well as one in Atlantic City (RolePlay Lounge...totally recommend it if you're ever in the area). In the NYC area we've been to Checkmates (cool space, decent crowd...all over the place as far as ages & body types but everyone was really nice and they have a mandatory undressing rule (you can wear a robe) to enter play rooms which we really like), Club Amantes (I believe the Brooklyn location has subsequently closed so not worth reviewing) and Sinsations (not fans..I can elaborate if you're interested)...we've heard great things about Taste and are interested in trying out Bowery Bliss (has anyone been or heard anything?)...always looking for info from anyone who has been to any of the local clubs/parties...or any clubs/parties outside the NYC area, could be fun to hit up on a vacation sometime too. Please feel free to contact us if you're up for swapping swing club stories and info. Also, if you're around these next couple weekends we're hoping to try one either this Saturday (6/1/13) or the following (6/8/13) and it's always fun to meet up with cool people there.

Desires Riviera Maya

We spent 5 nights in early February at Desires in Riviera Maya...for those who've never heard it's a lifestyle friendly/clothing optional all-inclusive resort. It's couples only so if you're single or looking for singles it's probably not going to be for you, but if you're a couple who's even remotely curious and comfortable around naked people you really should give this place a try. It was our first time there but we'll definitely be back (assuming we can find babysitters should enter the picture)...everyone we met there was on their umpteenth visit and all seem to have made it at least an annual trip. The food is good, the atmosphere is great and you can pretty much do as much or as little as your heart desires. There was never any pressure to play which was good because we definitely were a bit intimidated initially. Everyone was really friendly and as silly as it may sound considering the amount of swinging going on it really kind of strengthened your view of marriage...everyone there seemed to be incredibly happily married whether newlyweds or on together for 30+ years...I guess lots of sex will do that for ya. As one person we met said, the most unlucky person at the resort was going home every night and having amazing sex with their spouse...not a bad way to end a great day. I apologize for sounding like a commercial for the place, but we really did have an amazing time and I think anyone into the general subject matter of Older Hookups probably would as well. There were lots of sexy people but ultimately there were all ages, body types, etc so you'll never feel out of place and the crowd couldn't have been friendlier. We came home with lots of emails of people we will no doubt stay in touch with and hopefully meet again. Ok, I'll stop my rambling now but if you're a couple on here give it a try.

I've heard rumors that our good friend Poppi is planning another get-together here in Brooklyn. I can't promise invitations to everyone but if his last one was any indication this time around is going to be fun, incredibly sexy and definitely worth inquiring about. I can't really take any credit for the meet-n-greet, poppichulo34 set it up and was responsible for 4 of the 5 couples that came out. In the end it was awesome meeting some really cool new people over drinks. It's a really fun, no-pressure way to get to know each other. That said, for Poppi and the 4 couples that remained later in the evening I have to admit it was one of the sexiest nights I've ever experienced. What started as grabbing a drink in his hotel room ended up with bodies all over the bed & chaise lounge engaging in various sinfully fantastic activities. Can't wait to do it again, hopefully we'll have a few more couples joining us next time.
