 Most of them aren't fake....they are abandoned. It's a shame Older Hookups removed the "last online" counter, so you know ahead of time if the person hasn't visited the site since 2015.

Doesn't stop them, especially F accounts, from randomly getting free gold status for a few months at a time, or from clogging up the nearby list to the point of being unusable.

 Thank you for bringing this important subject up – it is rarely discussed. As long as a lot of guys concentrate their thoughts on women being (fake, bots, scammers etc.) it leaves all the real women here available for the rest of us guys. This brings the male to female ratio (about 20 to 1) down to like 10 to 1.

The biggest source of fake profiles that I come across are in the comments on members' photos.
Usually aged 22, 23, 24 they come in waves - eg a bunch will be listed as residing in Detroit, the next bunch in Tucson and so on.
And I think the same pics are recycled over and over.

The best was a 4-hour old comment. When I clicked on the member's profile, I got the 'Profile Removed' message.
Clicking on any of the fake commenters generated the same result: Profile Removed.

Questions are: Who is generating the fake profiles? What possible gain is derived from commenting on others members' photos with said short-lived fake profiles?


There's scamminess afoot, I just can't figure out the motive / reward.

 Removing the "Last Visited" stat was a horrible move for the users only serving Older Hookups in the short term as the long term effect is already being reverberated - and it's bad ....
