I have had over 20 messages in IM asking to meet because we appeared to be local This is not safe or wise

HAVE been meeting with my 3 FWBs, which are all related BTW, grin, BUT, I know all 3 of them as basically family, and get ALL the gossip & new via the oldest, the grandma, so.... it seems worth the chance. IF I thought someone outside my 'circle' wanted to meet, I would be very cautious, and only after an extensive conversation & fact finding, would I take the mask off and continue further. So far, hasnt happened. BUT, I havnt turned anyone down either. Offers to meet are very few & far between in the last year. I dont know if COVID is the reason, or my age, lol? AM sure hoping this COVID issue gets done soon before I get much older, as I am not DEAD yet, and have lots more fun in mind!

It is always a very good idea to keep things in perspective and to understand the risk factors to you and those you care about. I think that if AIDS was discovered now, instead of the 80s, the hysteria about it would be driven by social media, but the risk to the general public was low - for some groups in society, of course, it was deadly. Most people that contract Covid will make a full recovery and not be very sick - others will be less fortunate and some will die. With that said, people still die in plane crashes, car accidents, random shootings and choking on food. We are all mortal, the only question is how much living we do between cradle and grave.
