 It is for you to say what you want to the community on here. Yes some people will disagree and can even be very rude and stupid, if that happens just ignore them.

If you are going to post blogs then add a comment to make it appear in the "Recent Posts" list.

I also use it to allow non gold members to leave a private message, as they have to pay to read or send messages using the site, that only the two of us can see.

 Sometimes I just need to tell someone about my adventures, since I really can't do this with friends or coworkers, hehehe. People here tend to understand and don't judge me. Like "taste" said, it's also a way to let standards communicate.

 I have thought about blogging but I deal with enough rude and crude here and I don't even ask for it. I do have my favorite bloggers and I learn so much good information. One thing I have come across with certain bloggers is that if you do respond, and you are not in agreement with their views or consistently give them high five, then you are just being negative. I don't think that is what blogging is all about. What's the purpose of having everyone agree with the subject? I always try my best to respond in a civil tone and its just my opinion.

I responded to a blogger and most of his comments were not in his favor. Yet, he decided to take my comments as being confrontational. My comments were pretty lame in tone compared to a few and I was responding in general from MY experiences here. I didnt say anything about him, call him names, etc. He was clearly being a baby because no one high five'd his blog.

 A blog is like a Hooters name. It's whatever you want it to be. Some use it as a place to put there erotic fiction. Some use it to brag about their sexual conquests. I myself use it to get things out of my head and bitch about being a virgin at 33
