Sense and Sensuality

After some recent message and email contacts with members here on Older Hookups I feel obliged to post a few thoughts on the subject of sense and sensuality.

When I write an initial message/email to someone here on Older Hookups, I put a little mental effort into that first contact in the hope that I will receive a response, and certainly with the intention of creating a - mental, if not physical - response within the person who receives and reads my message. So, if my message did actually speak to the person at the receiving end in some way, then I would hope that I might get a reply that includes some sense, and maybe even some sensual thoughts. Am I expecting too much? When I wrote about what I am looking for, is it not reasonable to expect a response that either says that what I am looking for is not what she is looking for (thanks, but no thanks), or else something like "thank you, sounds interesting, I'd like to know more", and then a few sentences about her interests, wants, needs and desires.

Recently I received the following reply to my initial email: "ok, let's meet". Nothing else, just "ok, let's meet".
Well, that most likely won't happen, unless the reply (if any) to my response to her reads very different from the first one.

"Ok, let's meet" or even "ok, let's fuck" lacks on many levels. It doesn't show me any sense, and certainly no sensuality.

Just in case anyone needs it, here is a definition of sensuality:
"The state of being sensual; devotedness to the gratification of the bodily appetites; unrestrained indulgence in carnal or sensual pleasures; lewdness"
And just to give complete information, the definition of "sense": "Any of the faculties, as sight, hearing, smell, taste, or touch, by which humans and animals perceive stimuli originating from outside or inside the body"

 Indeed, one does never know what Joy a summer visit to the west coast might bring ... at the very least there is bound to be plenty of antici_pation ... the cause of which is easily determined, whereas the symptoms may establish themselves in great variety ... I would certainly be very much interested in exploring some of those symptoms of anticipation between us ... me being a standard member here might possibly suggest an alternative medium to facilitate a more private and more intimate mode of communication ...
