that garbage teacher was also democrap party mayor of the town ! he is a raging as hole liberal arrogant elitist piece of garbage like all liberal commie democrats.they will be the end of America.They have already taken all of our freedoms in the name of safety and fairness none of which brought either .It is an expected outcome when socialist idiots are brainwashed by the education system and stirred up by media controlled by evil selfish globalist commies. There is a middle ground that follows correct moral and biblical law.We will never follow it ,it is already inevitable that we will destroy ourselves with greed jealousy distrust hatred disrespect and selfishness. may mr salcido enjoy hell .

This is a good example of taking things to ridiculous extremes. I agree that people who serve in our military deserve a certain level of respect for any sacrifices they may have made or for enduring all that combat can do to a person. The teacher referred to here was expressing an ignorant position. Ironically, our military fights for, among other things, US citizen’s constitutional right to freedom of speech. So, his opinion, while ignorant, is his to express and is protected. Those who have served are still are human and are subject to the problems humans get into. To suggest otherwise and blindly offer praise to ALL is equally ignorant. A few examples of people who served and do not deserve praise IMO: David Berkowitz, enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged. Gary Ridgeway, joined the Navy and served Vietnam. Dennis Rader, joined the US Air Force in 1966 and was stationed in Alabama before being sent to Okinawa and then mainland Japan until the end of his service in 1970 Timothy McVeigh served in the U.S. Army and was a decorated soldier who served in the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm. Praise who you wish, but people like that will not get my praise. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I'm not sure if your post is about being angry with one specific person you hate. Forgive me, as I haven't followed your postings, if this is also included. You don't like this teacher Gregory person for his words about the Military, ( whatever he may have said ). BTY, you didn't include what he said that upset you so much! Is this Gregory against teachers, or the Military? Is this a political view or rant that you have? Even you said most will not know him! I served. Does that mean I am great ? Does that mean EVERYONE will agree with MY view about life, etc. ? Being curious and asking questions is a good thing!

I don't think he suppose that lutantic. Or else wouldn't go against what he says. After all the lutantic says this country has the best this, the biggest that etc. Including military. While I might not agree with what he said this country still has some free speech. For how much longer I don't know. It's ok for the great embrassrment to my country to talk the way he does. Ok with me for the teacher to say what he did. Hate speech, getting people to riot, etc is different. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

For those who are unaware of what this d-bag political activist masquerading as a teacher said - He said that only the lowest level of Americans serve in the Armed Forces and that those who had or will serve are nothing more than a bunch of losers with no futures. I paraphrase his comments but, have captured the essence of what he said. Furthermore, when confronted with his comments the individual was unrepentant and even doubled down on his comments by claiming the old canard of 'free speech,' and then attacking the student who recorded the comments. However, free speech does not apply in this case at all as these comments where made in the classroom where political activism, personal opinions, and political correctness is supposed to be strictly prohibited. Teachers are given tremendous power over the students in their charge and that is why political comments and personal opinions are not allowed to be expressed. They are supposed to teach the approved curriculum and nothing more without bias and/or liberal indoctrination. If this individual had expressed pro military, pro Trump, and Conservative opinions - the masses would demand this turds immediate termination and a tar and feathering in the public square for try to brainwash his students. Lastly, I consider my military service to have been noble, patriotic, and an important part of my life. The values, self-awareness, confidence, and skills I learned made me a better man, a better husband, a better father, and a better citizen. I would not trade my service - nor the personal sacrifices I made for anything in this world. For those who seek to denigrate or disrespect that ... do it to my face at your own peril !.! Firing a tenured public school educator is an incredibly difficult task and is a fate rarely achieved in the union dominated, regulation restricted, overly litigious, ultra-liberal public school system in California.
