Distance How far would you travel for a meet up? Come and get me can change over a few hours travel so how far is a sensible distance to go. Hour? 2?3? Get a hotel room because nothing is a certainty? Have a weekend away anyway with any meet as a sideline? |

Sensible concept as you travel a bit. Nice eye btw  As you say you wouldn't meet unless you were friends first but how to be that without that first meet? Has to be a first meeting sometime someplace. Do you have a regular route?

Considering I want a local fella for regular meet-ups, I wouldn't meet anyone that requires more than a 20 minute drive on my part the first time... even for an established playmate it's rare that I'd travel (just to see them) more than that unless it was a special occasion.

Understandable tickle. But as with many sites it appears to be more men chasing ladies than the other way round so we are generally expected to go that bit further. I did ask someone how I could get to chat and see them and the answer was... be closer... Fair answer but geography is not always our best friend and has to be negotiated carefully by both parties. what if they were willing to do all the travelling?

So basically he wanted to see what you look like and instead of chatting and trying to get to know you he expected to see everything for not even a hello. And depending where in Scotland could be an issue with a large radius lol. Pof might be ok for some but I put in location and it sends me women from London hahaha... Then... Do you want a blow and go? Weekend fun? Serious? Or stay single and say sod it lolol.

Hahaha.. Onl the slightest hint of double standards on his part. 50 miles is nothing in real terms, a nice relaxing drive really. But to say that it's too far to me sounds lazy. If they are too lazy to travel that far then they are likely to fall asleep on your sofa. I just looked at my pof and my new matches were at least 50 miles away lol. Car keys at the ready lol

That must be a bloody good spa! But I do similar to visit family and friends. 250, 300 + easy. So plan your spa and shopping trip and then see about a meet whilst you are there? It's a good plan. That's a distance for regular day trips. Should have stayed over  But you travel for work I think you said? So distance becomes normal. I like my car and happy to drive to snowdon and back in a day

So you do it properly and get yourself super treated movie star style? And maybe even a meet so you can have even more special treatment ? Not working, ok... FUGLY I rarely believe and could be a bit of self deprecation which we all do or you just think it too much . Taxi to your daughter!! at 99 years old! lolI had the urge to do something foolish.. Picked up a friend, drove up last good Friday, snow on the peak, meal and a pint and drove back with a 30 minute nap. lovely girl but not a fwb. would have stayed over then lol.

Well cancer is just shit and no mistake! I've had breakfast in bed from an ex for a birthday and I did similar for her plus dressed as a present to unwrap lol but not in a hotel as yet but I do like the sound of it, and for such a small amount extra. I need to visit more hotels! But hard to believe you didn't treat yourself before you were ill.. You should always be looking to treat yourself, you deserve it! everyone deserves the right to treat themselves as long as it isn't to someone elses detriment... unless that's part of the treat and its between consenting adults hahaha.. She is only 25... although I wouldn't say no I would need a written note slapped on my forehead to even know if someone likes me. But definitely going up snowden again this year... Fancy a walk? lol What else is on the bucket list and how can I help?

Very lad you are low risk! But it is still a battle to stay stong and positive for. Ahh, your ex etc explains the money theory... Scottish? I have Scottish heritage but never seem to have enough money to be penny pinching hahaha. As you very rightfully said... Shit happens! And it is how we deal with it and recover from it that makes us who we are and decides how we think about future situations. You should treat yourself whenever possible I am sure you deserve it. maybe to the hotel one day.. freak out a maid or something never thought about a bucket list... I've flown a plane, fallen out of one, swum in the tropics etc. walked a marathon.. twice. not sure yet, I will have a think about it. When is your next treat yourself weekend?

Religion! Aaarrgghh... Lol Full works excellent . Swim and a massage to take away all the stress, should be obligatory for everyone lol, although saying that I still haven't had a relaxing massage... One to do this year perhaps. £30 for an hour at the Thai place round the corner. Are you putting a meet into your full works weekend?

I have known lots of religious people the good ones are good anyway. The bad ones sit up on their horses so high they must have trouble getting back down lol. High horses only good for racing, riding and perhaps pretending it's a unicorn waiting to be horny. Hahaha (terrible joke) Girls weekend at spa then.. Lots of fun, lots of bubbles, and if you can cause some innocent trouble along the way even better lol
