I Love That This Is My Anniversary I just realized that one year ago today I ended a long-term relationship that was sucking the very life from me. The details of its end are inconsequential, but what is important is that my life has been roaring at fucking rockstar status since the journey has become my own. Tonight, I stopped by one of my beautiful girlfriend's new artsy studio near Downtown to help her with a few details. I remarked of how so much new business is coming my way; that things are crazy good. Out of nowhere she remarked, "the fact that that asshole cheated on you was the best thing that ever happened to you." I laughed and passively agreed. But wow, she's absolutely right. This has been a year of discovery and growth. I know exactly what I want. Much of my desire lies in absolutely kicking ass. I'm the type to reach outside of my comfort zone and continually challenge myself. Lately have been in the sweet pocket to hone strengths. I've neglected powerhousing for awhile. It feels so good. I love giving my time to serve others. Animals, people, spiders residing on the front porch, I'm all in...I got you, boo. The spider deserves a name at this point. What's their lifespan?! I've had the opportunity to take on challenges and so far, so fucking good. I took in a completely feral last year and he hasn't killed me in my sleep yet. Instead, he greets visitors, loves a good cuddle and has the purest smile I've ever seen. I love serving myself. Starting each day with several servings of fruits and veggies. Everyday is a good day to sweat. Because the gym is my second home, heavy shit is no problem. Sleeping in. Taking a nap. Enjoying the wine. I love being queen of my domain. If anyone has a that cleans, I'd like that training program. A girl can dream?? I love being queen of my bedroom. I love hosting. And that you go home. And have a full life that doesn't insist upon my presence for your happiness. I love exploring sexual boundaries. Playing dress up and attending crazy parties with the date that all the women will want to experience for themselves. In front of me. With me. Enjoy him ladies, I do! I love that some of my weekends are esoteric. Classified information for only those within my inner circle. Most of all, I love that this is an anniversary of my independence and growth. Happy and healthy, to live another day.  |

Just goes to show you HOW blind LOVE can be sometimes. Shows how much you put into your relationship and the fact that when you focus on something you nurture it to fruition.
