So I get this message on SnapChat....

So I get this notification from a girl. Not a total stranger, but not exactly an ex-Girlfriend. Totally Platonic, although I might have been open to more....we just didn't mutually pursue a relationship.
We had been social media friends before, but she dropped off for a while. The notification on SnapChat is that she added me by username. I responded....
"Hey How has life been treating you"
Her: "Horrid"
me: "oh no, sorry to hear"
Without being nosey, I let her know that I am here for her if she wants to talk, and she thanks me.
Then nothing for a few hours.
I send her a few fun snaps to cheer her up....totally G-rated stuff....just a few positive affirmations, dogs being funny and a few jokes....
then....she removes me as a friend so we can't chat anymore. I can still follow her snaps.

It almost makes me wonder if a jealous boyfriend took over her phone. but even if it was her conscious decision to remove me as a friend...why add me in the first place?

Seriously, its social media....if you aren't going to be social, get the fuck off.

 Follow up to my own post:
I've since re-connected with this friend. we are still very platonic. Turns out there was a very reasonable explanation for the social media issue we had in the past.
Since the issues were a personal issue of hers I won't publicly call it out.
However, suffice it to say, all is forgiven and we are friends. Not besties...but friends nonetheless.
