When my ex's dad died we stayed at the same motel with her brother and his wife for the funeral. There were photos to go through. His widow had graciously collected them for us with a promise to forward any others she might find later. My ex and her brother were in our room sorting through the photos, and I went out for a break and a smoke. I discovered my sister-in-law in their van with a couple of boxes of pictures that she had purloined to go through herself, to take what she liked. It wasn't even her family. I lost my temper, and that's all the detail I'm going to give about that.

What a nice comment to find here! You're welcome, and thank you for visiting. I hope you'll make it a regular thing. It's been a major hobby for me for years. My grandfather inspired me with all his stories about who was kin to whom. When the internet took off it got a lot easier to do the research, and I spent a lot of hours doing it. I wish he were here to participate. He'd love it!
