No Relationship Is Ever A Waste of Time
No Relationship Is Ever A Waste of Time Throughout our lifetime we have many different types of relationships. Each one teaches us more about ourselves. We can look at what didn't work & become clear about how we want our next relationship to be. We can develop new standards as we are more aware of what we will and what we won't accept. When we start repeating patterns that create arguments, chaos, rejection or abandonment, we can use these lessons to see what we need to change. When we are in a relationship we can either gain self-respect or lose it depending upon how we allow ourselves to be treated. Life is a process of beginnings and endings. Whenever a relationship ends, we experience its loss and learn from it. |

Whether it's with family, friends, romantic partners or work colleagues, the depth and strength of relationships are different depending on the individuals with whom we connect.

Most of this is true Except if you don't have self respect you can never get it from someone else. and then if you ever had a bad relationship due to what you have here and get into another one with same traits , you never learned from the first time.

So true, If you aren't learning and changing, you aren't paying attention.

Sometimes a failed relationship is due to not recognizing what we really want or need and sometimes because of ways our actions or inactions skewed things up. Some of us learn from them but not all the lessons needed. We can all hope we learn fast enough to have good or relationships. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

True that! Very, very true. If only some of these lessons weren’t so darn painful …. Still. They look so much more palatable in hindsight. 😊

You are very right; relationships reveal loads about ourselves.

This is so very true, as each relationship is different, and we learn from each and everyone of them we have. It truly teaches us what kind of relationships are truly the best ones, and which aren't. And the ones we want to have in our lives. I hope your Friday is a wonderful start to your weekend..
