Another one bites the dust . . . .

I do not know why ... but today I feel much more reflective than usual. Who knows why ... Maybe it's the changing season ... Maybe it's the growing realization that my oldest will graduate high school in the next 6 months or so ... or Maybe .. just maybe I feel (or more accurately sense) that something is about to change -- I don't know what or why, or how ... but something ...

Hell, maybe it has to do with the fact that it's my Birthday. I've never been one that really looks forward to a birthday celebration .. I mean, really, it is 'just another day' to the remaining billions of other people in the world. However, I find this year that I want pause and mark the event somehow ....

I usually never ... ever drink anything during the week other than 1 bottle of beer or 1 glass of wine with dinner every now and then .... but I believe tonight I will crack the label and enjoy the great 18 year old single malt I received for Christmas . . . . .

OK ... for those of you that I promised a blog posting .. I am sorry for the delay ... I am working on the story and will post is soon ...
