Notes from the Broadcast

It was really great chatting with you guys. I really appreciate your time, in real-time. Let's do it again next Thursday. Let me know if 3PM Pacific works for everyone. I'm thinking a little later in the day may work better for some of you.

Here's some notes on things I captured and will follow up on. If I missed anything, leave it in the comments.

- Profile information goes missing randomly. I'll give you an update on this bug (ACCT-607)

- Some testimonials have gone missing. If I have this one right, it seems to be more recent testimonials and they started disappearing a few weeks ago.

- The Group home page does not accurately reflect the number of people in the chat. Sometimes the home page will show nobody or just a few people in the chat, when in reality there are a bunch of people there. I'll see what the refresh rate is for that page.

- Signatures are going into pending approval forever and can't be changed.

- The backgrounds for Groups have disappeared. When did this start happening for everyone?

- GatorL7 has a list on page 4 of the July suggestions I need to check out, and pictures are losing votes.

 The testimonial that disappeared on me was an old one, but it recently disappeared.

I think the group bling background happened at the same time the blog backgrounds went haywire. I believe towards the end of June.

SoyKofla2 and I, I know are two people for sure having the pending approval problem with the signature. You can check w/Mr. Potter for this one. That's where it was reported. The first time I changed mine was on July 10th and it went into pending permanently. I changed it again today and it is still pending.

As noted during the broadcast your cam did have a few issues.
Logging on,,,what did happen?
And it did freeze at least once,which my logging off/back on did help.
As I stated, I'll send you more details on the music player issue.
I am glad it went as well as it did!!!

 Thank you for posting this, I unfortunately didn't get the time change and missed it all. I came in just as you were leaving.

MY Problem was with the cams and viewers. I get some that can see and some that can't. I am not naked so it isn't a terrible thing, but I get flooded with IMC messages of "we can hear you.. turn on your cam" and stuff.

I see your notes here don't mention that we did discuss the IMC/cam messenger working "one way"
Many hope this can be corrected soon...

Allow me to give you something to look into before hand... perhaps you can tell us why is it that we can not post innocent animal pics but YOU and others on the A.F.F. staff can post pics and links to animal looking dildos??? That would seem to promote beastiality

If the A.F.F. censors are not intelligent enough to distinguish between beastiality and innocent animal pics, then I strongly suggest that y'all hire more intelligent people. Pics of individuals pets can tell somewon more about an individual than most of the silly profile questions provided.

If the others that can't see them are standard members, that's correct. Standards cannot see images in blog comments or groups.

If it is silver or gold members, they should be able to see the images if the images are approved.

I think they are standard members that can't see them. Still kind of messed up though. If Older Hookups is going to give standards access to the blogs, they should give them full access to the blogs. I think things are a little too restrictive around here. They should be able to view profiles without restrictions too. I can't understand making them pay to contact other members, but to view profiles? That just seems like Older Hookups is shooting themselves in the foot.

I agree and we've made the suggestion to revisit the capabilities of standards. We haven't heard any thoughts back from the site on this one. Yet.

 Ryan dont make it any later than 3pm as that is 11pm in the UK and 00;00 hours in europe.I need my beauty sleep and mrs would just shout at me if i was up all night chatting..lol.
Sorry i missed the first one..The urge for alchohol and a sing song on the kareoke was too tempting. Yip i did sing and the bar emptied..

 I'm pretty sure it's been pointed out to Ryan in one of these threads here, but I believe we also discussed it AFF Members Focus Group. Crap! It's been months ago. I can't remember specifically D4. I'm sorry. We can always re-visit again.
