the river this weekend was a sign of whats to come 4th july weekend glad i was watching the river this weekend had to do a couple rescues and almost drowned my self Why are some people such idiots water and alchol just dont mix was down at devils playgroundwatching the idiots there were about 8 people in the raft and 2 with no life jacket's on on of the fell out and went under the raft the idiot's in the boat didnt realize it so i jump in to pull the out from under the raft got the out and got hung up myself and pulled back under the boat they had some rope hanging from the boat that at one time toobs were tied to the rope got wraped around my ankle and caught in some debries lucky i was able to hold my breath long enough to get my knife out and cut the rope after saveing the the rafters thought that i was trying to turn thier raft over no thanks for saving my it was more like they wanted to fight lucky some of my bud's were there and we got it under control before the cop's showed up and they would have went to jail man you try to help out and look what happens alcohol fueld i think if there werent any 's in the boat i would have sunk theme what asses and thene about an hour later i had to pull a young girl in she was so fucked up she was floating on a toob face down throwing her guts up she was also dehydrated and about drowned got her out didnt no if it was alcohol or drugs she was in bad shape i had no choice but to call 911 her parents were about 25 min from her boy did i give theme a piece of my mind they felt about 2 inch's tall whene i was dun with theme some people just dont no this river it's not very forgiving maybe ill just stay on my deck this weekend but i no they will want me out there to cater to the drunk ass tourist ok enough ranting think ill have a beer have a safe 4th |

they were very lucky that you were there and able to help.too bad they didnt realize you took it upon yourself and risked your own life just to avoid a tragedy.very lucky indeed!

Alcohol & water is always a bad mix. We have drunks drowning every year here due to that combination. Honestly you'd think people would wise up! Being drunk & taking you kids out on the water...
