AdultFriendFinder a dating site??? The World's Largest Sex Dating Site & Swinger Personals Community I have run into a few people who seem to think this site is for meeting someone for a meaningful long term relationship. I have said in the past and will say again, "This is not a dating site!" At least not like other sites who claim you will meet your true love. As stated in above and in the banner for Older Hookups this is A SEX DATING SITE and Swinger Personals Community. I am not discounting that you may possibly meet your mate here but it just blows my mind when people get butt hurt because someone is looking for just sex. I joined this site many years ago because I was in the swinger lifestyle. I don't know if I would say I am now although I do have a friend whom I partner with to swing... Why is there such confusion about why we are here? Why are some expecting to find true love here? Which in reality probably boils down to lust? In my opinion this site is for people to meet and have fun, for some its a place to cam, picture swap, naughty chat, etc. For me its a place to network and meet to have sex and possibly make new friendships. Has anyone else encountered someone looking for more than just sex? Are you on here looking for more? |

Well, there are a LOT of people here - mostly women - who DO think this is "Match" or EHarmony" or something, and get offended by even the slightest mention of sex before an LTR is established... I've learned to be selective, and not reply to, or bother with, the "dating first" women. It helps to read the profiles, but it helps MORE if the ladies would be honest in their profiles... many say they are looking for "fun and games", but mean only after endless contacts, meetings, etc., etc., etc... Pleasing women in unbelievable ways for 45 years... You could be next...

You say you wish they would stop sending you creepy messages but these messages may not be considered creepy to others. This is the point I am getting at, sometimes I get emails that I would much rather not have gotten. But knowing the nature of the site, I understand that there are people here for many different reasons.

I have encountered the same in the past too but again its primarily from people on this particular site. I had a profile on on Friendfinder and it was a different account all together. I can understand having some of the like sites linked but not all of them. If you were to look at my profile pic alone I think it gives a clear perception of what I am looking for. Thanks for the response!
